Time for a catch up
Hi all…it’s been way too long.
For those of you with a memory good enough to recall the topic of my last post (Art in the Landscape) here is a bit of an update.
The artist responsible for the stunning cloak, Anzara Clark, is currently examining publishing options for a book combining my images and her prose. The sample layout looks great. I will keep you posted.
Hopefully, you have seen a few of my pics (Insta and Facebook) from my recent trip to Melbourne. Here are a couple more that didn’t fit the Insta format restrictions.
All the Melbourne images were taken with my new go to street shooter…the Fujifilm X-T3. I am rapidly falling in love with this camera. I bought it specifically because it takes me back to the basics. It is very reminiscent of my very first ‘real’ camera, the Fujica ST605n…back when everything was manual. I can run the X-T3 very old school…a shutter speed dial, aperture ring and manual focus…love it! Of course it is capable of much more than this, but that is why I bought it. I am much happier if I don’t have to trawl through menus…give me mechanical dials and controls anytime.
Another one out of the Fuji…our little Lulu.
I have the best intentions of capturing BTS images for you but invariably find myself fully focused on the job at hand and totally forget. I’ll try to get a few at jobs over the next couple of weeks.
Cheers.
