Moving on
Hello all. Good to be back with you.
I thought it was time for an update. Let’s start with the wall.
Unsurprisingly, the insurance company isn’t coming to the party (in any shape or form) so we are on our own. I have been chipping away at restoring paths, terraces etc. and was making good progress until I knackered my back, so everything has ground to a halt. I need to rest to make sure I am in a state where I can still manage to work.
The majority of the shoots I have had have been pretty good (no carrying gear for extended periods or distances) but I have a wedding this weekend, which will be a bit of a test.
In more pleasing news…the products emerging from the ‘brewery’ are very rewarding and seem to be steadily improving.
I have even started experimenting with steeping grains for added flavour, additional hopping and upgraded yeasts. Letting the brews rest and mature is a huge challenge :)
Our garden always manages to produce things of beauty (largely due to the efforts of Michelle) and I do my best to do them justice in my photos. I hope you enjoy them.
And to finish…a random image I captured while wandering the streets.
Until next time…
Stay safe.
