Deck the halls
Hi All…welcome back.
Once again time has flown. I’m not sure what it is, but the days and weeks just seem to vanish.
As promised, I have some images from the pergola project…and a timelapse.
The ageing body certainly let me know I had been doing things it wasn’t used to! Over 3000 screws went into securing the decking boards…that’s a lot of time on your knees and lots of up/down/up/down.
The kids are very happy with the outcome :)
Good old Covid has been sticking its nose in where it’s not wanted again. I stepped in to cover the wedding of Choi and Regina when my colleague Ed Jones tested positive. It’s a weird feeling all of a sudden finding yourself photographing the wedding of people you have never met before (or even spoken to) and at very short notice. I was pretty happy with the result…and so were the bride and groom.
As mentioned in the last blog I had done a shoot for the Fin Review…well I have since done another…and one for The Age.
One of the things I used to like most about working for the newspaper was meeting great people. Sometimes I still get that opportunity working for clients. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Sharon Roberts for NDIS…Sharon is absolutely lovely.
Next time we talk we will have a new government…don’t waste your vote.
Stay safe everyone.
