A tradition continues...
In 2015 my wife Michelle joined with thousands of others to mark the centenary of ANZAC...it was her first dawn service. She openly admits she wishes she had done it years before.
Moved by the experience, she was determined to make it an annual event...and she was also determined that family and friends should share in the experience. Our own ANZAC Day tradition was born. The participants (numbers vary depending on availability) gather at the Hodgman Street Hilton (our house) for the walk to the cenotaph. We observe the service and then walk home for a slap-up, cooked breakfast. It's a great way to pay our respects and a super excuse for a family get-together. Here are a few pics from this year's event.
